The Diva Chicks Tour 2006

Last week I was so very happy and excited to host the Diva Chicks Tour 2006 at my home!!! It was actually Tammy, Elizabeth, and Staci visiting. The four of us first "met" back sometime in 2003 I believe on the message board for Gooseberry Patch. The next year Elizabeth and her sister vacationed here in New England so I got the opportunity to meet her them. Eventually, GBP shut down their message board so one of the girls started a new board for us all to visit, GirlsLikeUs (GLU) and that is our home on the internet to this day. There is a great group of women that frequent the board to discuss everything from crafts to decorating to seasons and holidays to recipes to entertainment and everything about our lives. Well, the four of us forged an especially close bond and chat a lot on-line and on the phone, too. So we decided the time was right for a gathering of the Divas! And what better time than our absolute favorite season: AUTUMN! So, on October 4, Kevin and I headed to Logan Airport to pick them up and start the Diva Chicks Tour 2006, complete with tiaras and everything! For the next four days we stayed busy touring Boston, the White Mountains, Salem, and everything in between. It truly was a fantastic weekend and we made memories that will last us a lifetime. Even though we live in all corners of the USA, the bond we have will last a lifetime. We are sistas!!! And our friendship is so special!
