Simple joys.......

...Like seeing the heartwarming bond between Jonathan and Uncle Kevin get stronger and stronger each day!

...Nights like these when Jonathan stays over our house. We have  so much fun with him! He literally couldn't wait to go outside and help Uncle Kevin mow the lawn!!! I just love this kid so flippin' much!!!

...Gorgeous, ginormous, oh so happy summer sunflowers freshly cut this morning, a beautiful summer morning. I picked these up at the farm stand down the road, along with farm fresh local corn on the cob, zucchini, and cucumbers.

Some other simple joys from today:

...Kevin and I having a day off of work together.

...Bailey is just the snuggliest little luvbug!

...Seeing Mom and Dad's new cabinets for the kitchen remodel! They are in and now the contractors have the unenviable task of unpacking many boxes.

...Today is the 11 year anniversary of Kevin's and my first date!

...The temps tonight are actually comfortable enough to have the windows open with a fresh breeze blowing in.

...The first day of August means before we know it it will be Labor Day, which is, as far as I am concerned, the beginning of Autumn!

...New magazines to read tonight. Celebrity trash...I admit it! I am hopelessly addicted to reading Us Weekly.

...Listening to little Jonathan reciting the lines from the movie he is watching (Alvin & The Chipmunks) which he has obviously seen, like, a gajillion times!

...Some of my favorite paper companies are bringing out their holiday offerings, for example, this AMAZING Halloween line from Cosmo Cricket that Tams just called my attention to!

...And speaking of Autumn and papercrafts, at the new Michael's the other day I just had to pick up these fantabulous stickers to use in the Autumn journal I am making:

...And the sweetest little guy snuggled up to my side really wanting his Auntie to watch the movie with him, so, good night!!!
