I *heart* Fridays! Mostly because I don't work on Fridays! Truth be told, there are a lot of Fridays where I get pretty bored. Still, I *heart* Fridays anyway. I didn't really get bored today, even though I didn't do anything too terribly exciting. So I will just share some random Friday rambling with ya!
Picked up the latest copy of one of my favorite magazines today at Michael's...Cloth Paper Scissors Studios. I devour every copy of this that is published. I love looking at other people's art spaces! Love that glimpse in to their lives. And I get great ideas for my own craft room!
While at Michael's I raided their Dollar Spot because they had AUTUMN stuff out!!! Anyone who knows me or who reads this blog knows of my addiction to all things autumn!!! And when the stuff costs a buck, who can resist?! I picked up four supercute journal/notepads. I have no idea why I thought I needed four (I don't) but for a buck each I was getting them all! Also got a cute coupon holder that I plan to use to store my fun shopping coupons in! And those little gift tags and cardboard coasters are actually destined to end up in autumn papercrafting projects. Fun embellishments for, again, just a buck a pack!
After Michael's I went across the street to Bed Bath & Beyond....armed with a purse full of 20% off coupons (if you were not aware, BB&B will take as many coupons as you have AND they will take expired coupons, too!!! I once used 15 in one checkout!!! So NEVER throw out a BB&B coupon!!!). I had a list of things I needed to get....and didn't get any of them. Well, one of the things I planned on getting (an ice cream maker) I am still trying to decide if we will use all that often. A few other things I wanted to get they either didn't carry or were out of.
The sun came out today from around 6AM till about 2PM...then it rained again...but then the sun came back about an hour later and is STILL here!!!
I threw a load of laundry in the washing machine over an hour ago...and forgot about it till now. I suppose I should go toss it in the dryer, huh?
We are planning on heading up north for the day tomorrow! Going to Lincoln and Woodstock NH, then for a drive on the Kancamagus, then in to North Conway. These are some of our favorite places to be! We love this area and it is our dream to someday have a cabin on one of the lakes in the mountains up there! Tomorrow is Old New England Day in Woodstock. Looking forward to that! We'll stop at one of the scenic overlooks on the Kanc for a picnic and at some of the shorter, easy trails to walk with Bailey. Then in North Conway we will go to all of our favorite little shops!
It is still hard to believe that in the span of just a few days three Hollywood icons passed away. Rest in peace Ed McMahon, Farrah Fawcett, and Michael Jackson.
5:18PM...sun is still shining! Laundry is still in the washing machine...
Gotta go!!!

Have fun tomorrow!! Take lots of pictures and blog...I would love to see those places. Not sure what I will be doing this weekend...probably nothing but rest so I can be better for my birthday. This cold has me so tired!
We never got the rain here in Quincy but it is starting to get cloudy again...and humid! UGH!!!
Wow! What a lot to do! I am jealous... just found out that I am going to be scripting interviews for Ashley. Does that sound like fun or WHAT?
Enjoy your travels tomorrow. Can't wait to see pictures of that beautiful area...such scenery.
Have fun!
