You know by now I take pictures...

Lots and lots of pictures. I pretty much do not go anywhere without a camera. I always have my little point-and-shoot in my bag. It is so small but it does so much, so it is great to always have it handy. I can never complain about missing a chance to record a memory. Then I have my baby, my fancy-schmancy workhorse D-SLR camera. Oh how I looove that thing. But it is, of course, much bigger than the point-and-shoot so it is not always practical to have it everywhere with me, especially once you figure in different lenses and such. Still, between my two favoritest toys I manage to capture a lot of memories, of the every day and the special occasions, of people and places and things. I always knew I took a lot of pictures. I think everyone that knows me knows that. I really got a good visual of just how many pictures I take when these arrived on my doorstep a few days ago....

.....my latest photo order. I guess on some level I realized how many pictures I was ordering when I was placing the order, but after a while all that clicking around on the site just gets routine. It is not until I saw them piling up as I opened envelope after envelope after envelope, and then had to sort them, did I get a good visual of the fruits of my obsession! I won't even admit to how many pictures are actually there, nor will I admit to how often this scenario plays itself out in my craft room. Just suffice to say...I take a lot of pictures!

And I am on a first name basis with our UPS man.

And, seriously, with readily available, super-cute photo subjects, like him...

and him...
how can I not take a bazillion pictures every day?!

And to think I was so completely overwhelmed with my order of 200 photos from our recent trip to NYC that I have yet to open the box. Too much work lies ahead of me in getting them organized in the album..
