I'm on fire!!!

At least that is what I keep randomly blurting out to Kevin or Bailey or the walls or whatever! Seriously, though, I am bouncing around this house like a rabbit on speed! I don't know what has gotten in to me but I got this crazy burst of energy from the moment we got up this morning (in the interest of full disclosure, we did sleep till almost 10...). It is a cold, windy, rainy day here in the Boston area so we have not left the house. In fact, we have not left our pajamas. But it has been such a productive day so far. I made us a hearty but healthy breakfast this morning...a nice change from the usual quick bowl or cereal or toast and yogurt we eat during the week. I baked a batch of healthy pumpkin muffins. I have our supper prepared and in the fridge just waiting to go in the oven later. Kevin cleaned the bathrooms and packed up some stuff that I wanted to be stored in the basement. I cleaned the kitchen. We have folded one load of laundry, the second is in the dryer, and the third is in the washing machine.

For real.....I'm. On. Fire.

This picture has absolutely nothing to do with this post other than I snapped it while buzzing around the house a little while ago...

This picture is a little more relevant because it is the muffins I baked. See the one in the front, third from the left. It looks like I accidentally popped two muffin papers in to the pan. I like it better. I should have done it to all of them. You can barely see the fall design on the papers on all the others. I obviously ramble about stuff as insignificant as the value of one versus two muffin papers per muffin when I have gotten way too much sleep and thus am on fire...

Bailey is clearly NOT on fire and is all kind of raising one eye open and is like "back off with the camera crazy speed lady..."

Those pumpkin muffins look delish. Did you guys get snow in your area? Watching the Pats game was crazy... I couldn't believe all of the snow that they were playing in!

Kristen I wish I had some of your energy today! I have laundry to do - ALL day! I feel more like Bailey looks! I'd much rather lay around all day....but off to the laundry room I go!

Hope you have a GREAT week!

I'm happy you had a rear on fire! ha! Whenever I make muffins I bake them in the plain, cheap paper cups and then pop the cute ones on after baking. Double cups, yes, but the patterns really show and they look super cute that way! Yours look scrumtpious.

The pumkin muffins look delicious! The meatloaf dinner last night sounded fantastic! Yum! I'll have to try a healthy version of that soon as well. Our turkey chili was excellent. I'll have to post the recipe very soon!

Kristen I didn't know you lived in Boston. Guess I never paid close attention. When my honey was interviewing that was a spot that was a very real possibility for us...too weird. Anyways it worked out for us to stay here, but now my ears perk up when I hear anything about Boston:)

Oh those muffins look so delicious! I love it when I have those rare moments of jet fuel burning and go to town on my house work, crafts and whatever. I wish they happened more often. Your dog is just the cutest. Have a good night, hugs, Kathleen
