Checking in...

I'm sorry I haven't checked in sooner, but, I got sick while away at the scrapbook retreat. And as such I have just not felt like doing anything, including blogging. In fact, today is my first day back at work all week. I am still feeling like I should be home resting, though. The crop was great...till Saturday afternoon when I started coming down with this nasty cold, which thankfully is NOT the flu. But I did end up with a pretty severe upper respiratory infection AND a lovely early-morning trip to the ER yesterday. I was so dizzy...turns out I was dehydrated so I ended up there for several hours getting IV fluids. Oh joy! So, yeah, the crop....turns out scrapbookers are pretty hard core because a lot of the women there showed up sick. Nice. So because I still don't feel good and it is making me grumpy here is my PSA for the day.......

IF YOU ARE SICK, KEEP YOUR ASS AND YOUR NASTY GERMS HOME!!!!!!!
That's all. I will be back when I feel better. Miss you all!!!

Preach on Sistah!

I hate going in public, especially when it is cold and flu season. I'm not so nice to the folks out there hacking up their left lungs in over-heated stores contaminating me with their nasty ass germs! I carry cans of Lysol and antibacterial gel with me, not to mention I beef up on immunity boosters before I leave the house. I'm horrible.

I'm sorry you got so sick but glad that you are feeling well enough to return to work. Take care of your self.

Love & miss ya!

I wish you'll feel better soon. I missed you being around.

I totally agree, because of people like that both of my boys are home sick since Sunday. The little one went to school today, but the older one is still not well.

I gave shit to my sister this morning. She lost her voice yesterday at work and she's back this morning hardly talking and working with public all day long. She's an optometry technician. She totally pissed me off....

I am so losing it...I am not sure if I already posted a comment. If I did this one should self-distract itself.

Anyway, if I didn't I hope you will get better soon. I missed having you around.

I agree people should have their sick asses home in bed. That's why my kids are sick now.

This goes for my sister as well. Going to work after losing voice and working in public is not cool.

*giggle* I'm so sorry you're sick, but I had to laugh at the big statement you made at the end. I...KNOW!!! I got the flu from somebody here at work and it was the worst! I was out sick for over a week.

Feel better, girl. Don't worry about us, we will still be here when you're ready!

I am so sorry you got so sick doing what should have been so much fun. Both of my sons' wives teach and I worry about them all the time - little ones are sent to school half dead just so parents can go to work...sigh.

I second that PSA. People who get other people sick suck :-(

Hope you will be back to your normal energetic self soon.
