Sunday Stealing

My bloggy friend Jodi introduced me to this meme that she takes part in each week and I thought that this week I would play along! If you would like to play along, too, head on over to Sunday Stealing to link up!

1. What were doing 10 years ago?
I was in the process of buying my first house with Kevin, working as a travel consultant at a tour company, and planning our wedding!

2. Five snacks that you enjoy in a perfect, non weight-gaining world
Anything chocolate, chips and salsa, anything I bake, dips, cheese and crackers

3. Five things you would do if you were a billionaire:
Open well-appointed no-kill shelters in all states, make sure my nephew was set for life, pay off all of my family's bills, take a fabulous vacation to all the places I want to see in the world, invest and save

4. Three of your habits:
I play with and twirl my hair when I am nervous or anxious or bored, I sometimes bite my cuticles, and this is gross but if I get a blemish I pop it

5. Five jobs that you've have had:
restaurant hostess/waitress, retail, travel agent, bank teller, limo company

6. Five places that you've lived:
the same city in MA my entire life

7. Five things that you did yesterday:
Grocery shopping, went to CVS, went out for coffee with the hubs, babysat our nephew, had dinner at my MIL's

8. Five people you would want to get to know more about:
some of my AWESOME bloggy friends: Jodi , Alicia , Nikki ....there are way more than 5!

9. Abortion: for or against it?
I don't like it and it is not for me but I believe it should stay legal to stay safe

10. Do you think the world would fail with a female president?
Nope...unless it were Sarah Palin

11. Do you believe in the death penalty?

12. Do you wish marijuana would be legalized already?
I could care less either way but if it is legalized I think they should tax the crap out of it

13. Are you for or against premarital sex?
I wouldn't say I am "for" or "against" it. I never really thought of it in those terms. I am all abut to each their own. I have no problem with it.

14. Do you think same sex marriage should be legalized?
Yep! People should be able to love whomever they want. Again, to each their own.

15. Do you think it's wrong that so many Hispanics are illegally moving to the USA?
Why are just Hispanics being singled out? I think illegal immigration is wrong regardless of what race or nationality you are. To me, anything illegal is wrong. Breaking the law is wrong. Yes I have a HUGE problem with illegal immigration. I think it needs to be stopped.

16. Should the alcohol age be lowered to eighteen?
No. Though we have family in Europe where the drinking age is much lower and they don't seem to have the problems we have here....

17. Should the war in Iraq be called off?

18. Assisted suicide is illegal: do you agree?

19. Do you believe in spanking your children?
I don't have kids, but spanking makes me uncomfortable. I don't know what I would do if I had them...

20. Do you worry that others will judge you from reading some of your answers?
No. I am sure I will be judged, but whatever. Again...to each their own. If someone wants to judge me that is their issue, not mine.

Good answers!! I would have said the same thing on them!! I watched a show today on Dogtown about puppy mills...so very sad! I wish there was a way to stop puppy mills!!

You are so right! To each their own. I'm not sure why I didn't answer all the questions. You made a good point the other day when you said that it is your blog and you should be able to say what you want. I really need to heed your advice.

Great answers. I think that is so funny that you were a travel agent and a bank teller! We are so much alike!!!!

I stand by my theory that you are the best Aunt ever!! How does one bite the cuticles when they are flat? I hope you do get to visit all those places you've been wanting to see...

I think we have the same snacking issues. I would list the same ones...Along with full on sugary cherry cokes.

I love this! :) And you know I would LOVE to get to know more about you, especially in person. Can I tell you how excited I am that we may be moving to Manchester, NH at the end of the summer? We'd be so much closer!! :) I totally agree with you on a majority of your answers, although the assisted suicide being illegal is kind of a murky one... I'm not entirely sure how I feel about that. Hm.
But I did love these answers! :) xoxo.

I love your answers.

I realized we had similar job/career paths. I was a waitress and then later owned a restaurant. I am a certified travel agent (not doing it). I took a course to become a bank teller and I did work in retail.

I feel the same way about most of your answers. The ones I don't I never though about.

More I know you more blessed I feel for being able to call you my friend.
