I hope it is okay to enter if I don't have a blog. My favorite things about summer (who can really choose just one?) are swimming, eating lots of fresh veggies, laying in the air conditioning and watching Andy Griffith, and falling asleep to the sound of locusts in the tree outside my bedroom window. *Sarah*

M y favorite thing about summer is the relaxed feel that you get. Even when there is an appointment or a meeting things are not quite as rushed. The holidays that fall in the Summer are easy going as well. Plus my birthday is at the end of Summer and my husbands is at the beginning.

Okay, leaving another comment... I hope no one thinks I'm trying to cheat if my other one pops up out of bloggy long lost land. :)

I am SO excited for this, simply because I love, love, LOVE GBP so much. And I've never won anything! This would be perfect to add to my GBP collection. I only have their fall-themed books, but I think it's about time I expand. ;)

What do I love about summer? That fall is right around the corner! ;) No, seriously... for a long, long time I despised summer. I'm not a hot weather kinda girl, you see. Lately though, I've been warming up to summer: swims in local swimming holes; hikes along the river and up through our mtns; biking, running and enjoying the outdoors; taking the dogs for walks; and all of the time spent with friends and family. While summer doesn't hold that magical appeal for me like fall does, it's certainly growing on me.

Congratulations on your almost 500 posts. I love each and every one of them and so appreciate you! :)

Woo Hoo! Count me in! GBP Cookbooks are like CRACK, I tell ya! I just can't get enough of them.

The only thing I like about summer is AIR CONDITIONING!!!!

I do love vegetable gardening, Farmer's Markets, when Hobby Lobby stocks their shelves with fall and Christmas, and air conditioning!

What I like about summer is the nice warm weather and not having to wear heavy coats, boots and gloves. What I truly love about summer is eating lobsters and steamers in the rough at Browns in Seabrook, NH...YUM!

I definitely would say that my favorite thing about summer is watching my 3 Grands get overly excited about playing in the pool!!!

My favorite thing about summer is not having to put my shoes on all day.

mine would be the humidity that makes my hair a frizzy mess -- kidding, it's actually the days I get to sleep in late and not set the alarm because my son does not have school

Hi Kristen! What a great giveaway. You're such a sweetie!

My fave thing about summer is that we celebrate 3 birthdays in our family: Vinny, me, & my beautiful daughter, Liana. It's always been very special for us to share the same b-day month! :o)

Well ok...I just got here today but this sounds like fun. :)

My favorite thing about summer is that 1) I don't have to work (I am a middle school special ed aide); and 2) we head to the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont to spend time filling up our souls at "the lake".

I love this blog, too. :)

How nice of you to have a give-away, and congrats on almost 500 posts! My favorite thing about summer is not having to wear a hat, scarf, gloves, thermal underwear, coat, sweater, mittens, earmuffs, and not having to shovel, plow and snowblow. You New Englanders know what I am talking about!
Hugs, Kathleen

CONGRATS ON YOUR 500TH POST!

What I like about summer is.... my friend Kristen getting published... the flowers in bloom. The fresh fruit. Honestly, I prefer the fall but Fall is not what this post is about, LOL

I Hope you are well.

Hey - how did I miss this? I read you everyday, even though I may not comment. And you know that I wouldn't miss this for the world.

Enjoy your weekend. Looks like the skies are darkening for some much needed rain here.

Airconditioning when it's too damned hot (which has been the whole last month, lol) and a cool breeze and a light sweater on days it's not!
