I have THE BEST neighbors!!!

I have said it a million times, I know, but I have the best freakin neighbors!!! Love love love the my neighborhood! Love that we have neighbors that are also great friends. Love that we can all party together and not have to drive, and as was the case for me this past Saturday night, love that we don't have to walk that far either. It was actually a very good thing!

Lori and Ben had a Christmas party Saturday night. What is the Christmas season without fun parties to attend, right?! And bonus...Lori and Ben live right across the street! Bonus #2...Patti and Glenn from right around the block would be there, too! Bonus #3...Renee and Ed would be there and I miss them because they no longer live next door. :( Bonus #4...with this crew there would be booze...lots of it! Bonus #5...Renee would be making the drinks! Um, er, in hindsight, maybe that wasn't quite so much a bonus but damn I had fun anyway!!! :-)

I may as well just say it now....I was trashed. I mean, could barely walk back across the street trashed. And oh man did I pay for it with the hangover from hell the next day! I don't regret it though...I had a blast nonetheless, and I wasn't the only one! I rarely drink anymore and I certainly don't party much anymore. I am sure it also didn't help that I didn't eat anything while I was over there even though there was quite the spread. Oh well, as I said the hangover was worth it. I had a blast and I love my neighbors!

Here a few pics from the night...

Yes this pic is fuzzy but I didn't even take it! haha Glenn (Patti's fiance) did! That is Patti next to me, then Lori, and Renee!

Me and Ed. I was attempting to, and failing to, keep the camera steady for this self-portrait....um, yeah, nice try...

Lori and Ben with their youngest, Braden. Party or no party a baby's gotta eat!

The best bartender around....Renee!!! Damn I miss having her and Ed living right next door :(

Annnndddd....that was about all the pictures I managed before it was clear that I wouldn't be able to hold on to the camera much longer!

What a night!!!

The picture of you and Ed, even though it didn't come out the way you wanted it to-- I thought it was a beautiful shot of YOU! You're just shining through! I love it!

Oh, we've all been there. Hangovers are worth it as long as you had a good time getting it. ;)

How great you can drink close to home. That is the way to Party. Looks like you had a rockin time. We all have to let loose now and then!
