Random Friday......

Home from work today...feeling a little ick due to a certain monthly visitor that is most UN-welcome!!! So I am just hanging here with Bailey, watching HGTV, and surfing the 'net. I am being good, though, and I have been doing laundry and I got the grocery list made for Kevin. I am so blessed that I have a husband that will do the grocery shopping because that is one thing I can't stand doing. And he is much more thrifty than me anyway. Actually, for a guy he does A LOT around here. I am a lucky girl!

Tomorrow Mom and I head to CKC-Manchester for the day. Gonna shop till we drop....which is kind of counter-productive to what I am trying to do in my craft room, which is purge stuff I no longer want/need/use. Several months ago I did clean some old stuff out and it is amazing how much making your creative space uncluttered can actually "unclutter" your creativity. Still, can't miss a chance to buy direct from some of my favorite manufacturers. I doubt we will take any classes...nothing really caught our eye and we don't want to be up there all day.

Speaking of CK, this month's issue was pretty decent. I was pleasantly surprised. I have not been too impressed with it in recent months and at one point even contemplated letting my subscription go. I am going to keep it though. I have subbed to it for so long I can't imagine it not showing up in my mailbox...even if it does show up after the newest issue is on the newsstands...grrrr!

I made my favorite "hanging out at home" lunch today. Take a piece of hearty bread and drizzle extra-virgin olive oil on it, place four thin slices of plum tomatoes on it, place a couple thin slices of fresh mozzarella over that, and sprinkle on some finely chopped fresh basil. Pop this in the toaster oven then enjoy! YUM!

Why can't every Dunkin' Donuts make their iced coffee the same?!? There is nothing worse than driving away and taking that much-anticipated first sip and realizing that there really are people in this world too stupid to make a simple coffee!

(That was mean...I take it back!)

For all of you scrappy addicts out there, check out Luxe Designs blog. They are previewing some of their new lines and the one that is up now, "Sundress," is FAB-U-LOUS!!! The colors are scrumptious, and like they said, perfect to go from summer to fall (my favorite!!!). I would love to hear what some of your new favorites are....please share in the comments!

Shout out to my GLU chicas!!! Loves yas!!!! :-)

OK, so there are only 2 humans and a dog living in this house. Can someone puh-leeeaaaze explain to me why there is so much laundry all.the.time???????

Just some random musings on a Friday afternoon.......

Peace, loves, and hugs!
