Saturday Randomness...

Let's start with this, shall we:

Ah, my favorite. Good old humidity (I know you can hear the sarcasm in my voice!). What this lovely little graphic fails to say is that the humidity is in the oppressive range, meaning 70% and above. We pretty much have our butts parked in front of the AC. But I don't want to. I want to enjoy our summer days. Before long it will be winter, and New England winters are loooong, and kinda dreary. I want to soak up the sun (quick! name that artist!). But I just can't in this humidity. It makes me tired and cranky and my feet swell and I get all sweaty-gross! OK, weather rant over. I am sure it is getting old by now.

I wanted to thank all of the sweet, kind souls that left me encouraging comments on my last post. It truly means the world to me and I treasure each and every one of you!

Got my hair done this morning...one of my favorite things to do. I get a partial foil done every 6 weeks and it is so relaxing. My stylist, Sue, has been doing my hair for years and she is also a good friend of mine so it is our time to catch up on everything. We do get to hang out outside the salon, but not often, since work takes up most of our time. She just moved to a new salon so it was my first time going there. I didn't know what to expect since I was used to the old place but she wasn't happy there and I knew why. I am so happy for her that she is now in a more professional salon where they appreciate her talents and she is happy, genuinely happy!

I am debating if Kevin, Bailey and I will take off for the day and do something, but I don't know what. It has to be something where we keep cool. I would be more than happy to check out the Hallmark store as a few divas have mentioned that the fall stuff is starting to show up on the shelves. And the store has AC. Still, not Kevin's thing. I may still go anyway. But then part of me would just like to take a drive somewhere, preferably north, to a little secluded swimming hole where no one is so we can just relax and keep cool. But it is already almost 1PM and it takes a while to get up north.

Of course since the house is nice and cool I could tackle some organization projects in my craft room. That desperately needs to be done because I really would like to create some stuff, but with a cluttered, overflowing, unorganized room my creative mojo is way too stifled.

What are some things you do on a sweltering day like this? Please share!

I will report back later and let you know what we decided to do. I will hopefully add some pics of whatever we do, too!

Have a fantabulous Saturday!!! Mwwwaaaahhh!!!

Am I lame? I just stayed in my little room with my AC (and Morticia because she got a bit overheated) and played with some alpaca... and my spinning wheel.

Happy Saturday!

Today was perfect for doing absolutely nothing that couldn't be done in front of an ac!!!
If you made it north I hope you missed the traffic!!
