Seven years......

I will always remember that day. I will always remember what I was doing.

I will always remember the horror at the realization of what was happening to our great nation. I will always remember the tears I shed and the sadness I felt. I will always remember how scared I was, the sheer terror that something like this could happen on American soil.But I will also remember the resolve. The resolve of our country, of our leaders, of our citizens. The resolve to not let terror win. The resolve to re-build. The resolve to re-emerge stronger than ever. The resolve to live and remain free. The land of the free, the home of the brave. Always. And I will remember the heroes that came out of that awful day seven years ago. The survivors, the rescue workers, our leaders. The ordinary people who came together as one, to fight the good fight and not let terror prevail.
