Nothing too exciting. Just stuff. Random stuff. I seem to really be a fan of the word random, huh? I wonder what that is about?
Anyhoo...on to the aforementioned stuff.
This blank wall is above the bed in one of our guest bedrooms. We don't have all that many overnight guests since 99.999% of the people we know live local enough to go home, but we have extra bedrooms and furniture, so, two guest bedrooms it is. But since the rooms don't get used all that often I didn't want to spend a lot of money of them. But I also loathe blank walls. This post and this post talks about what (super cheap and kinda cheesy) thing I did to remedy that. And I have finally gotten around to hanging up the frames.
Procrastination seems to be another word I am quite familiar with...
Speaking of cheap, that bedding, which I actually really like because it doesn't look cheap, is from Target so it was fairly inexpensive. It was one of those bed in a bag thingies so it came with the throw pillows, too!
Now that this little decorating dilemma has been solved I am already on to my next project, in my mind anyway. I told Kevin about it, too, fully expecting him to look at me like I was crazy and try to talk me out of it, but he surprised me. He likes the idea! Man, I am on a roll!!! First the garden, now this latest project of mine! I should really think of a few more things I want to do while he is this agreeable!!! (Truth be told, Kevin is such a laid-back guy that even when he thinks my ideas are nuts he will usually just go with the flow. I am a really lucky girl!)
All I will say right now is that this new idea of mine involves chalkboard paint and molding strips and quotes and.......
stuff.

I had to call my son and husband in to listen to the voice on the video - not your cutie pie nephew - who is adorable! - but is that you talking to him??? It is so much like my voice we had to do a double take. I am originally from NJ - maybe that has something to do with it? Bizarre...almost thought I was listening to myself :D
