Many thanks!!!

I just wanted to thank my friends, both "in real life" and my "blog friends" for your kind comments on my last post. I was having the ultimate pity party and you all helped me to start climbing out of my funk and for that I am grateful! I am also grateful for this little gem my sista Staci posted on her blog for me knowing this would crack me up (because I have the sense of humor of a teenage boy!).....

I also have to give a big hug and thank you to my blog friend Bonnie! I was the winner in her very generous Blog Candy giveway this week. It came at just the right time to cheer me up!!! Thank you, my friend!!! (if you scroll down to the June 8 entry titled "Blog Candy Winner" you see what I won!)

My mother-in-law is home from the hospital. She came home last night. She has a lot of medication and there are still some issues that need to be monitored closely over the coming weeks and months, but, God-willing, she will be with us for a long time!

Thanks to my friend Jeannette (you REALLY should read her blog, but don't blame me if you go broke buying all the cool stuff she finds!) I now know about this great on-line community called Savvy Auntie (see the button on my sidebar). I am looking forward to getting more involved here. I *love* being an Auntie!!!

Other than that I am just patiently waiting for 4:00 to get here so my weekend can start. Lots I want to get accomplished this weekend, but realistically I know I probably won't get to do everything. If I can at least put a dent in my to-do list, though, I will be happy.
