I hate to bitch and whine and sound like I am ungrateful, because I really truly know how blessed I am, but....this week is just starting out rough. Still lots of stress over my mother-in-law. She is having an angiogram done tomorrow to see what needs to be done and I am worried. And my husband is worried and my heart aches to see him worried and hurting. And I know my sweet MIL is scared. We just lost my father-in-law two years ago...when something like this happens we get scared.
Then I come home today and we have no water whatsoever in our house. Can't run the sinks or the shower, can't flush the toilets, can't turn on the hose. And how did I find out we have no water? After I sat down to go to the bathroom and realized I couldn't flush the damn toilet!!! Immediately I thought it had something to do with the new furnace we had to have put in last week...a job that is still not completely finished. And the part that needs to be finished is the plumber's part. This is a whole other thing that has me in a tizzy! Come to find out our entire street is without water because the city is flushing out hydrants somewhere. Whenever that has happened in the past we were given warning as to when the water was going off. Not today. We all found out the hard way. And all we are being told is we should have water sometime tonight. For real?!
Work was chaotic and crazy, too. Of course.
So if you are wondering where I am, I am mostly like curled up in a ball on the floor, slamming tequila shots, and mumbling incoherently while picking my toes.....
