First grade. For real. The little guy is growing up...fast. Too fast. I can't take it. Seriously, could this kid be any cuter?!? And he was so excited to be going back to school. I wasn't able to make it to the school today (too much crap going on at work) but my parents went with my brother and sister in law. My Mom was still weepy when I talked to her! This kid loves school and that makes this Auntie so proud and happy! Sure he was excited to see his friends but he also truly loves to learn! So very happy about that.
This smile wraps itself around my heart every time!
Love his silly faces! This kid is all boy. No doubt a fart noise followed this face...
Rockin the new backpack. Gotta have the new backpack for a new school year. This year he is all about SpongeBob (gag!). This kid is obsessed with SpongeBob. Makes my head spin when he is watching it. But I tolerate it because he also goes old school....my brother got him hooked on Tom & Jerry!
Speaking of my brother, this is the elementary both my brother and I went to, also! My first day of first grade was in 1976.....damn!

He looks soooo happy to be going to school. Wish teenagers were still all smiles at the thought of school :D
So precious - the photo with the SpongeBob Backpack.
The little guy's got a lot of support with your wonderful family behind him :D
BTW, thanks so much for your kind words on my post!
Very very cute!! That is great that he loves school! Wow, that's wonderful!(totally agree about Sponge Bob, the children-to-be are not going to know about Sponge Bob, Jonas Bros, and Miley)! lol
