My sweet friend Terri has recently been diagnosed with breast cancer. Thankfully, it was caught very early and is treatable! Still, I feel so sad to hear of anyone going through that, but it really hits close to your heart when a friend has to go through it.
I had a hair appointment today. The receptionist at the salon I go to is also in her own fight against breast cancer. So, in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month coming up, the salon is doing pink hair extensions, with all the proceeds going to breast cancer research. I had no idea they were doing this till I got there this morning.....and it took me all of two seconds to tell my stylist I wanted one!!!
For Terri!!!
What do you think of it?!
I had to snap these pics myself since it is only me and Bailey at home right now, and well, he lacks opposable thumbs! And I was too excited about it to wait till Kevin gets home later!

Hey Kristen
Stopping by to catch up, it's been one heck of a week. I love the hair extension - awareness is terrific.
I'll venture to say that my style is vintage with a side of Victorian:)
And thanks so much for the yummy recipe, I'm headed to the orchard tomorrow for apples and cider!
If you have the time, please stop by The Old Parsonage, I love company.
Enjoy!
Leann
Pink extensions! Your hair looks so nice and silky smooth in those pictures. I wish mine would look that good! Its frizzy today. But then again, I didn't shampoo this morning. Could explain the frizziness. I think you look good!
Very cute:) I wish my hair was as smooth looking as yours:)
