Merry & Bright: My Christmas Decor 2009

******* WARNING: Picture-filled post!!! ******
(but aren't those the best kind?!)

So I am finally getting around to sharing my Christmas decorations. They really didn't change much from last year. Still keeping it simple and only putting out a tiny fraction of the decor I have, and only putting up one tree. But I love it! It is all merry & bright!!!

For the most part, I will let the pictures speak for themselves. Enjoy!

I made the bottle cap collage a few years ago. The red frame was made by my nephew as a gift to me, so each year I put his picture with Santa in it!

I made this mirror a few years ago in a class with Tim Holtz! I love how it is reflecting the tree across the room!

Jonathan also made me that green frame. It is covered in snowflakes and dolphins. Snowflakes because it was a Christmas gift and dolphins because I love dolphins! In it is a picture of Jonathan with his dog Kya, a sweet Golden Retriever!

They don't. They really, really don't........

The following several pictures are close-ups of favorite ornaments on our tree......

This ornament is one of the very first Hallmark ornaments I ever purchased, sometime around 1989 - 1990!

And snow it did last night!!!

Yep...been there, done that!

These are just two of MANY Patriots and Red Sox ornaments on our tree!

From our very first Christmas together in 1997!

Here are a few close-ups of the mantel...

So there you have it! This is how I have decked my halls this year!!!

Now I have got to get back to baking Christmas cookies and wrapping gifts! But there will still be more posts to come...maybe later today...
