Where have I been?

I know. I haven't been the best blogger lately. I haven't really had a lot to blog about that I felt would be interesting. I have been busy for a few weeks. And I will share a few pics. Like, our neighborhood annual post-Christmas bad gift swap party!

The hubs will be thrilled that I posted this.... ;-)

The desperate housewives! Wisteria Lane's got nothin' on us! ;-)

Let's see...what else? what else?

Oh! I do want to take a minute to welcome all of my new followers! Thank you so much for visiting my humble little blog! I am most appreciative, and I am enjoying following all of you right back! :-)

Who's watching the Super Bowl tonight?! I loooove football, but I have to be honest, if the Patriots aren't in it I am usually not too interested in watching. Tonight is different, though. I am soooo loving that the Saints are in their first Super Bowl!!! They so deserve it and I am hoping and praying for a win for them! Really, though, considering the other team is the Colts (excuse me a moment while I puke!) I would root for anyone playing them. I canNOT, will NOT, never, ever, as a die hard Patriots fan, ever root for Peyton Manning (gag! puke! blech!) and the Colts. So, tonight, for one night, my red and blue has been replaced with black and gold!!! Who dat!!! GOOOOO SAINTS!!!!!!!
And, really, unless you are from Indiana, how can you not be pulling for the Saints?!?

So, aside from football, can we talk Carrie Underwood for a minute? I know I am sooo not a country music fan, but I will be the first to admit the girl has got some pipes! She can sing! And IMHO, she nailed the National Anthem! There is nothing worse than seeing these so-called singers get up there and proceed to butcher the hell out of our Anthem by trying to put some contemporary spin on it. NO! No no no no no! Our Anthem is the one song that no one should feel they have the right to take "artistic liberty" with. But back to Carrie. A beautiful girl for sure, and she does seem awfully sweet, but, girl......

FIRE YOUR STYLIST! Who the hell put her in that outfit?!?! And while you are it, fire your hair stylist, too! Usually her hair is to die for. I think my husband nailed it when he said she looked like Evil Knievel. Poor Carrie. At least she has her voice.....

Despite my neglecting my poor little blog here I am pretty proud of myself for keeping up daily with my Project 365 blog, 365 Daze to 40 . I would love for you to check it out and let me know what you think!

I actually have a lot of ideas for upcoming blog posts swimming around in my head, so expect to start seeing more from me once again! Here's a sneak peek of some of the things I want to write about:

* do people actually blog any more...?
* tattoos ... people have them, people you wouldn't think......
* it is almost time to talk GARDENS again!!!

And now that I have a Flip camera it is time get crafty on video!!! And maybe even vlog.......?

The condoms may be a gag gift but they're useful!!!!

I'm not a fan of Carrie's outfit either but I sure do love her voice!

Yep, totally agree with you on the outfit and hair for Carrie...

but why don't you like Peyton?

I can't wait to see what you have up your sleeve!

She doesn't like the Colts because the Pat's lost to them. Yeah Saints! WOO HOO! I will disagree with you, Kristen....The Who...blows! Always have...always will! Love ya ! Muah!

No that is not why I don't like the Colts Carol!!!!! The main reason I don't like the Colts is because of Peyton Manning!!! Can't. Stand. Him. Never could, never will!!!!! Did you see that sulking baby stomp off the field?!?! The Pats have beat them plenty, too!!!!! And I will ignore that comment about The Who!!! ;-) Mwwwaaahhhh!!!!!!

Hi sweetie...so good to hear from you. I was wondering where you ran off to. Glad you came back.

I have to admit...we were rooting for the Colts! Do you still love me??? I adore Carrie Underwood. I think she could pull of a grain sack if she had too:) Now I'm off to check out your 365 blog.
