I'm published!!!!!!

It's true!!! For the first time I have been published in a Gooseberry Patch book! This is HUGE to me! I blogged about it back in February when I first got the letter informing me that they wished to publish a short essay I submitted about my love for autumn in New England!

Today I received my advance copy of the book !

It should be available for purchase around August 1...earlier than I thought!!!

OK, I admit it...I was jumping up and down when my husband handed me the mail and I realized what the envelope from GBP probably contained because I hadn't placed an order! And it took me about 30 seconds to shove the book in Kevin's face so he could read it!!! And within minutes I had posted it on GLU and Facebook!

Yeah. I geeked out just a bit.

I couldn't help it. That is MY name there!!!

I will be announcing my book tour soon......

;-)

Congrats on being published :) I love Autumn too, especially when summer really hits here in TX! I'm from England but the weather there leaves a lot to be desired! I like the rest of the year here just not the summer now.... I'm longing for Fall even before July 4th.

I read your piece and it's so perfect! I adore fall too and begin planning/wishing/hoping for it around July every year!
I guess our families and friends know what they're getting for Christmas this year!
