My eye...

It may be a few days longer before I get to posting regularly again. I am having some issues with my eyesight right now. I went for my regular appointment at MEEI today and I need to have a minor procedure done in my right eye (the eye I had the corneal transplant in four years ago). It seems my astigmatism is getting worse and it is really affecting my vision. And I needed to have a suture removed from my cornea today and my eye is usually a bit sore for a few days after having that done. I will have the procedure done in a few weeks. I am fine, though...just a minor bump in the road. As I mentioned on here before I have THE best cornea surgeon (Dr. Pineda) around so I know I am in THE best hands!!!

Jodi said...: Oh no!! My poor friend! I will be praying for you! Almost three years ago, I had to have cataract surgery in both eyes. I know I'm so young for it, but with the prednisone (steroid) I took for my asthma when I was younger, it affected my eyes. Plus, last year I had to have YAG surgery in both eyes to remove the "secondary membrane" that grew over it. Having eye issues is so scary! I'm glad that you are OK!
