Halloween Highlights

The trick-or-treaters are not out yet but we have already had some fun!

the candy is ready and waiting.....

Jonathan is just waiting for it to get dark...

even Bailey is all set....

(though I think his stylin' outfit has more to do with his favorite football team playing today)

Now we just have to wait for all the little ghouls and goblins to start ringing the bell....and try to stay away from the candy bowl while we wait!

Jonathan got a little head start on Halloween treats this past Friday night at family dinner. I surprised him with a jack o'lantern cake that I made for him!

This freakin thing took me hours to frost! And my kitchen was a frosting battle zone!

It almost killed me to cut it. But seeing this....

Jonathan's happy little face!!!

It makes all the hard work so worth it!!!

(that black food coloring was sooo messy!)
