Bailey's 2010 Christmas Photo Shoot

It is not easy photographing an energetic little Beagle. Yet each December I am determined to make Bailey the subject of our family Christmas card. This year I am sooooo late. I literally just took the picture on Sunday and had the cards printed the same day. I am still in the process of addressing them, but we won't go there right now....this is about Bailey!

I am not going to post the actual card here because many of you that read this blog will be receiving one...soon! lolol But here are a few outtakes. Taking photos of Bailey can be a challenge. These photos are never going to be the best quality. And Sunday I was in such a rush to finally get these done I didn't even use my dSLR. I just grabbed the point & shoot and went with it. What we do is have Kevin stand close to me dangling a treat as close to my lens as possible. This usually ensures that Bailey will look at me.

Still, crappy quality or not, my dog is just plain old freakin CUTE!!!

Bailey is workin in' Just the sweetest face :D You know I've been thinking again about getting a dog - until I visited my friend yesterday and she explained how much it is like having a newborn and that I should talk to her before making any rash moves :D

What an adorable face.....who couldn't love that boy? I must admit though, he seems to be saying, "hurry up, I am so sick of this" Wishing you and your family a very Merry Christmas!
