A Man and his Grill...

~* Kevin at the grill, 5.20.09 *~

Just what is it about a man and his grill? Really, does any man want to come home from a hard day at work, a long commute home from the city, and...cook? Hell, my day at work is only moderately hard and I have a very short commute from the next town over but I don't even want to cook! But when it is grilling season, Kevin will run right upstairs, change his clothes, grab the meat, and run out to the grill! Like that commercial when all the middle-aged guys are sweating over their grills and grunting, "Go meat!"

I wonder if it the grill itself? Or the fact that they can light fires? Or is it the anticipation of a big old charred hunk of meat?

I don't know what it is. But whatever it is it means I can sit here blogging and watching re-runs of Friends and then have dinner served to me!

Gee...I love grills!!!

I wish! Our grill is just an extension of the kitchen as far as Mark sees, I'm the grillmaster at our house (well, then again, he is the cheif housecleaner so I can't really complain!)
